Deacons
The Deacon’s Ministry is called to serve as lay spiritual leaders of the church, assist the Pastor in meeting the spiritual, emotional and physical needs of the church; assist the Pastor in the administration of the sacraments, maintain regular contact with all members/families; provide spiritual leadership and guidance to members/families and church ministries, serve in an advisory capacity to the Pastor; assist the Pastor in orienting and assimilating new members; organize and mentor the Junior Deacon Ministry; assist baptism candidates before, during, and after the baptism and other duties as assigned by the Pastor.
